Monday, 14th July

On Monday the 14th we visited the Sudley House, which is an old house of a rich family in Liverpool. There is a costume room and a lot of pieces of art. You can bring children there because there is a playroom.

After we went to Liverpool's city-center and we had  free time in the afternoon.

Friday,July 11th

Friday, July 11th in the morning we watched a film called Cast Away because we were very tired. The story is about a man who was lost on  a desert island and we saw how he survived after four years, how he built a little boat and he came home again. He learnt that his girlfriend got married and she had  hada daughter. It's an interesting movie so we recommend it! 

  In the afternoon we worked. 

day 5

Yesterday, we went to a little supermarket to buy ground almonds and we went to the house to bake the sweet things we had chosen. We baked in the morning and we finished baking and decorating our baked goods at 12 o'clock.

We waited for Quentin (our french group leader) to come to the house. We went to a park with Quentin for a picnic. After the picnic we had a little challenge: we had to find and take photos of places for the following people;

We tasted the cakes and we went to the house to finish our work.

After we went back to our host families and we went to a party form 7pm to 10.30pm. 

day 4

Today we visited a museum again! it was about the slavery in the past and it's very interesting and very important to know about this part of history. This museum is near the Beatles museum and inside the Maritime museum. We followed the Exhibition Trail there.

Afterwards, we went to the shop to by ingredients for our recipes. Unfortunately Aldi did not have all he ingredients that we need it. Myrtille was annoyed by this.

day number 3!!

We visited in the city center two Cathedrals. The first Cathedral was catholic and was lot newer than the other Cathedral is protestant. We answered to a lot of questions about the cathedrals. Then we strolled in the street  and we saw the Philharmonic Hall it was closed because they are doing repairs. Afterwards we took the bus to the first Beatles Museum. It was not very big, we watched a movie  (more for children) about the life of the Beatles and this museum its just a gallery picture. After we went to the second Beatles museum. It was very big and interesting because we were they spend all their time.

So it was a sightseeing day!!!  

2nd day

Today we went to Liverpool city centre.

First we went to the library, it's a very huge library. There we searched for 3 books and we have to read 1 chapter on homework.

After we went to an art gallery called Tate Liverpool. The Tate family is a very rich family. We discovered some strange pieces of works for example there are 2 strange movies. We think it's not a gallery for teenagers unless if you love art.

When we left the art gallery we went shopping and we went to Primark because it's cool, very big and not very expensive.

About us

We are Camille, Myrtille and Adelina. We are in Liverpool for a linguistic trip for 2 weeks. 

We are French students. We all live in Lyon. We are 16 years old.We are staying with English families.

We go to English lessons every morning, and in the afternoon we do activities.

On Friday afternoon we went to a big festival and we tasted some delicious food from different countries. We had to ask some questions about the food : -if it's vegan food ?

                                                                                             -if it'i gluten free ?...

We came  home and we cooked some brownies to compare them with an excellent brownie witch we had bought at the food festival. 

On Saturday, we joined families and we did activities with them like go to the cinema or go spend time in different parks.

On Sunday,we meet again the rest of the group and we went to Blackpool and we did attractions on rails.
